Wednesday, March 20th, 2019, Metro Health officials have confirmed the first measles case in Bexar County.
A first reported case of the disease was on March 13, when the MDHHS confirmed an individual had visited NY and Israel before returning to MI.
"A lot of times we don't provide that information of where they are, or what community they're in, but basically we want the community to know all the locations these individuals may have been while they were contagious", says Oakland County Health Officer Leigh-Anne Stafford.
Marion County health officials are now working to find anyone else who may have been exposed to the virus by this latest patient.
