Singer Joy Villa has made another statement on this year's Grammy red carpet, stepping out in a gown painted with a rainbow foetus and the words "choose life" on her purse. Villa topped the ensemble off with a Miss America-style crown.
Joy Villa arrives at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, California, February 12, 2017.
Though Villa has long used the red carpet to make a statement, it was last year's pro-Trump Grammys gown that appeared to have a real impact: According to The Hill, her record "I Make the Static" climbed Amazon's list of top 100 digital albums after the 2017 ceremony; it also went up the charts on iTunes, per Idolator. The gown was made out of a pro-Trump flag of Soriano's, reading "Make America Great Again". "This year I chose to make a statement on the red carpet like I always do", she told Fox News.
The dress was reportedly inspired by Villa's own life and the child she gave up for adoption when she was 21 years old; explaining she preferred the idea of adoption over abortion. "I'm all about life".
"I love what he is doing; unemployment is down", she said.Читайте также: Melania Trump 'flies back after dodging Donald'
'I'm glad that conservative values are back at the forefront as a pro-life woman'. "I can't wait for the next seven years!" she enthused.
"I did nothing wrong", Villa previously told The Associated Press. "The very reason I can't remember the last time I watched an award show". She is a phenomenal woman.
"There is a lot of hypocrisy we see from celebrities", she insisted.
"I am looking forward to seeing Americans".При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
