Bahram Qassemi, the foreign ministry spokesman, strongly condemned the provocative and interfering remarks made by Trump about possibility of military action against Venezuela in a bid to resolve the ongoing crisis in the the Latin American state.
The defense minister said to expect a more detailed diplomatic response on Saturday.
"We want to express gratitude for all the expressions of solidarity and rejection of the use of force from governments around the world, including Latin America", she said in a short speech. "If planet Earth will end".
Venezuela's government has been severely criticised by the global community for creating a National Constituent Assembly (ANC), which will rewrite the Constitution.
Colombia, Peru and the Mercosur bloc of nations - three of Venezuela's biggest and perhaps most effective detractors in the region - were among those who issued statements denouncing Trump's bellicose rhetoric.
"I'm not going to rule out a military option", Trump told reporters at his golf club in Bedminster, N.J.
The Trump administration has slapped sanctions on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro after a July 30 vote that allowed the President to replace the opposition-held National Assembly with a new 545-member Constituent Assembly filled with his supporters.
Venezuela's Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza slammed the "warmongering" declarations of the US President Donald Trump as "threats to peace".
"The awful threats of President Donald Trump are trying to drag Latin America and the Caribbean into a conflict that could permanently alter the stability, peace and security in our region", he said.
"This is our neighbour", he added.
Mr. Padrino did not indicate how Venezuela would officially respond to the comments by Mr. Trump, who said, "Venezuela is not very far away, and the people are suffering, and they're dying".
In a move to support the right wing parties rival to the leftist ruling party in Venezuela, the United States has imposed crippling sanctions against Caracas and has threatened the country with military option.
