The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said nine women and 14 children had been killed in coalition air raids on Raqqa city since the August 7 evening.
The dead include a family of 14, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. The Observatory, which relies on a network of sources inside Syria for its information, has regularly reported civilians killed by coalition strikes.
The Britain-based watchdog group said the toll was likely to rise as many were critically injured.

Over the course of the United States military operations in Iraq and Syria as part of the ISIS War, a massive number of civilians have been killed, though the official U.S. figures recognize only a tiny fraction of that, with large portions of the incidents dismissed as "not credible". Rights organizations say the number is far higher.
The U.S. -backed Syrian Democratic Forces have been trying to capture the city since launching an offensive on June 6 under, backed by airstrikes by the U.S. -led coalition.
