Covid-19 : nouvelle recommandation sur la prise du vaccin - Polynésie la 1ère

La HAS est un organe scientifique consultatif, ce qui signifie que le gouvernement français devra désormais décider s'il doit s'écarter du déploiement actuel du vaccin en France et suivre sa recommandation. L'unique dose de vaccin servira alors de rappel.

La Haute autorité de santé (HAS) en France a recommandé, vendredi dans un nouvel avis soumis au gouvernement, de proposer une seule dose de vaccin anti-Covid-19 aux personnes "ayant déjà fait une infection" par virus. "À ce jour, aucun pays ne s'est clairement positionné sur une vaccination en une dose pour les personnes ayant contracté la Covid-19 antérieurement à la vaccination", souligne-t-elle. Outre les bénéfices sanitaires, les chercheurs à l'origine de ces travaux soulignaient que faire une seule injection aux personnes déjà malades par le passé pourrait permettre d'économiser des doses dans un contexte où l'approvisionnement est des plus difficiles. Celui de Johnson & Johnson, en cours d'examen par l'Agence européenne du médicament (EMA), nécessite en revanche une seule injection.

Ainsi, la France, où le virus à tué plus de 80.000 personnes, devient le premier pays au monde à faire une telle recommandation.

Les exceptions au schéma posologique proposé incluent les personnes qui ont attrapé Covid dans les jours suivant la réception de leur première dose d'un vaccin et les personnes atteintes de maladies immunosuppressives, qui doivent être vaccinées avec deux doses.

"La présence de symptômes persistants après une Covid-19 n'est pas une contre-indication à la vaccination".

Le gouvernement suit généralement les avis de cet organisme. Fin janvier, il avait toutefois choisi de ne pas augmenter le délai entre les deux doses de vaccin Pfizer, contrairement à la recommandation émise quelques jours plus tôt par la HAS.

Le communiqué de la HAS indique que ceux qui ont été testés positifs au Covid-19 sont protégés par un " mémoire d'immunité " pendant au moins trois mois, ce qui signifie qu'une seule dose de vaccin agit effectivement comme un " booster " coup.

"Chez les individus avec une immunité pré-existante, la réponse des anticorps à la première dose est équivalente, voire supérieure, à celle qu'on détecte après la deuxième dose" chez des personnes qui n'ont jamais été infectées par le coronavirus, écrit l'une de ces équipes, basée à l'école de médecine Icahn à New York.
