Rain and cold temperatures will greet you as you start your week

As an added bonus, temperatures will be relatively mild, with highs eventually getting into the low 40s.

Monday will start with sunshine and then the clouds will quickly increase. It will be chilly overnight, with lows in the mid-20s and partly cloudy skies. The sun will likely return Tuesday afternoon, with highs in the upper 40s.

After that, sunshine will take over most of the state for the second half of the day sending high temperatures into the upper 30s again.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy & warmer. By Thursday night there is a chance of rain changing into snow showers early Friday morning. 40% chance of showers expected Tuesday as the low pressure system moves east. Tuesday morning lows are in the upper 30s and highs reach the low 50s. Expect a chance for a rain/snow mix on Thursday otherwise mostly cloudy skies with highs near 38°.
