COVID-19 : 13 nouveaux cas confirmés dans la région

La MRC des Appalaches compte 13 nouveaux cas confirmés à la COVID-19 depuis dimanche.

Le total est passé de 1 067 à 1 080 alors que 135 cas sont actifs, une hausse de deux.

Il faudra toutefois voir si d'autres facteurs sont responsables de cette hausse en Chaudière-Appalaches, notamment lors du retour des voyageurs, mais "à cette étape-ci, il est encore trop tôt pour voir l'impact des voyages sur le nombre de cas", a mentionné Mireille Gaudreau du CISSS régional. La Beauce enregistre 580 cas actifs, soit 4 de moins que dans le bilan de samedi.

La situation au CHSLD Paul-Gilbert de Lévis, où l'on dénombrait encore mardi sept nouveaux cas (33 résidents et 18 travailleurs actifs, 21 décès cumulatifs), demeure parmi les plus critiques.

Notons que c'est maintenant 4286 doses de vaccins qui ont été administrés dans la région de Chaudière-Appalaches. Si les établissements comptent toujours plusieurs cas actifs, en Beauce, seul le CHSLD de Sainte-Hénédine rapporte un nouveau cas.

Depuis le début de la vaccination, 10 793 doses du sérum ont été administrées, aux travailleurs de la santé ainsi qu'aux résidents des CHSLD.

Aucun nouveau cas. On dénombre 29 cas actifs chez les résidents et 14 cas actifs chez les travailleurs ainsi que deux décès cumulatifs.

Trois nouveaux cas. On dénombre six cas actifs chez les résidents et moins de cinq cas actifs chez les travailleurs.

Les deux personnes décédées dans les dernières 24 heures demeuraient dans les résidences privées La Villa du Moulin à Saint Joseph et au Manoir de la Roselière à Notre-Dame-des-Pins, toutes deux en éclosion.

Elles font également état de 51 nouveaux décès, pour un total de 8 737. Parmi celles-ci, le nombre de personnes se trouvant aux soins intensifs a augmenté de 8, pour un total actuel de 211.
