'Housewives' star Braunwyn Windham-Burke comes out as gay

The reality star, who has been married to Sean Burke for 20 years, revealed that she is actually now seeing someone and her husband has met her. Braunwyn and her husband plan to stay married in spite of the news and continue co-parenting (via Page Six).
She added: 'I'm just now starting to feel like I'm becoming the woman I'm supposed to be.
She elaborated, "I'm a member of the LGBTQ+ community". I am a lesbian. 'It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now. "But I'm not attracted to men and I never have been", she confessed. "Was it a drunken mistake or is this a part of who you are?' And I said, 'This is who I am'".
In the just-released RHOC midseason trailer, the ladies are seen going into lockdown and beginning to self-shoot scenes as Shannon Beador tests positive for COVID-19 amid relationship drama with her boyfriend John Janssen.
The mom of seven kids also spoke about her love for her husband, Sean, and their 20-year marriage.
Braunwyn Windham-Burke - who recently renewed her wedding vows to husband Sean Burke during an episode of Real Housewives of Orange County - took to Instagram and declared her new status while also admitting she's dating a woman. I got married very young and I never thought about it.
Asked how she feels now that she's publicly come out, Braunwyn said, "I'm still getting used to it". "But it took me personally 42 years to be comfortable enough in my own skin to say that".
"Honestly, we are in uncharted territory", Braunwyn said, adding that her kids weren't shocked at all. I don't have a role model for this. I don't have anyone to go to for answers.
"You know, Sean and I are still married". 'We are not sleeping in the same bedroom right now, but we are in the same house. He knows the girl I'm dating'. But, I mean...and obviously, this has been the topic of many a conversation in our household between the two of us. She came over the other night, hung out with the family, had dinner with us.
So sweet: Her husband of 20 years, Sean, shared a photo of the couple to his stories and tagged his wife while using a rainbow emoji to share: "I love you". "After I went to the reunion final year I extra or less started youngster-stepping into, 'Here's who I'm".
Braunwyn then explained that James told her to "own it" so she began testing the waters with her friends and family by hinting that she might "like women". "I don't know how we're all making it work right now, but we are".
