NYC man shoots flamethrower from top of MTA bus in Brooklyn

Surveillance video, released late Wednesday, shows the alleged shooter, wearing a red, gray and black jacket, and a woman wearing all black, running on Fulton Street just before the shooting.

Flamethrower-wielding rapper Dupree G.O.D. called a Manhattan public-relations firm seeking an apparel deal prior to his scheduled surrender to police, New York Post reported.

A man with a flamethrower opted to use it during the afternoon commute in Brooklyn, New York.

The wild video shows a shirtless man jumping from the top of an ice cream truck onto an MTA bus that had just pulled up alongside it. Much everyone to all who came out. With incredible energy. We are in this together. "We The ILLest. Video coming".

The MTA confirmed there were no permits for the stunt and were less than enthused by it.

A Brooklyn man is wanted by the NY Police after he was caught on video shooting a flame thrower atop an occupied city bus in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood, has learned.


'The incident is now under investigation.

"We don't even need to say how absurd, unsafe and just plain stupid this was", MTA spokesman Tim Minton said.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) said it is investigating after it was made aware of the incident.

'NYC is NOT safe YOU are being lied to, ' the union raged in a since-deleted tweet.

As mass protests against police brutality erupted across the country in June, the New York City Council voted to slash $1billion from the NYPD's $6billion annual budget.

As the flamethrower-wielding man leapt from an ice cream truck onto the Metropolitan Transportation Authority B26 bus, some flammable liquid dripped from the flamethrower onto the vehicle's roof, but no injuries or damage were reported.
