Hulu Hikes Prices of Live TV Packages by $10 per Month

Hulu is raising its prices for live TV packages.

The $65 a month price now puts it on par with YouTube TV, which also had a price increase earlier this year.

As many cut cables and fled the large providers for these streaming options, prices just keep going up.

The standard Hulu + Live TV plan will cost $64.99 per month, while the no-ad version goes up to $70.99 per month. The change will apply to new and existing subscribers.

The service includes access to Disney's Hulu streamer, along with a catalogue of channels from the country's four major broadcasters (ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC).

However, while the service may continue to increase its offering and user experience, the benefits of Hulu with Live TV - along with its competitors - are appearing to dwindle as they up their prices.

The Hulu subscription VOD-only plans will remain unchanged at $5.99 per month with ads and $11.99 per month for no ads.

The Hulu + Live TV lineup includes all four major broadcast nets - ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC - in virtually all US markets, as well as cable channels including ESPN, FS1, CNN, Fox News, FX, TNT, TBS, Bravo, Food Network, Freeform, Lifetime, USA, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, MSNBC and CNBC.

Still, Disney-owned Hulu has now raised prices each of the last three years.

Hulu's live TV streaming platform is the largest in the U.S., rivaling services like YouTube TV, Sling TV and more with 4.1 million subscribers.
