Employees at two of the world's largest tech companies will largely continue working remotely from home due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Coronavirus pandemic has forced a majority of workers across the globe to work from home for almost two months. "Our ramp back to the office will be slow, deliberate and incremental". "Today, we announced anyone who can do their work remotely can choose to do so through the end of the year", a spokesman of Facebook said, as quoted by BBC.
Google's work from home policy is already in place until June and with this announcement, employees get to work remotely for the rest of 2020. This includes content reviewers who work in the areas of counter-terrorism, self-harm and suicide prevention, as well as engineers working on complex hardware.
Now both Facebook and Google have announced that they are not expecting employees to return to the office until at least 2021.
