Haaland's father, Erling, who was also a professional footballer (among others, played for Manchester City), gave an interview to the German channel Sport1 in which he talked about the future of Borussia Dortmund's fashionable scorer.
The Norwegian is one of Europe's most wanted talents having proved his capabilities in Germany after first bursting onto the scene with Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.
"We signed a long-term contract with Dortmund and the this is a fantastic team for Erling at the moment". But we are talking about speculation here. We don't want to look any further.

"I sometimes think he wants to and can assert himself in any league".
The striker has regularly been linked with Manchester United, who were once thought to be favourites for his signature courtesy of Haaland's relationship with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was his managed at Molde.
"That's his goal. Erling can still achieve much in Germany and make great progresses". "He is happy to be in Dortmund and to be playing for this club".
And Norway worldwide Haaland - the leading contender - graced Saturday's front page of Tuttosport, beating the likes of Dortmund team-mate Jadon Sancho, Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies, Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood and Barcelona sensation Ansu Fati to the award.
Haaland's father went on to add that Man Utd and Dortmund are two very traditional clubs with a large fan base and a glorious history.
"Man United is a very proud club, just like Dortmund in Germany". And Dortmund want to beat FC Bayern soon, that's the clear goal.
"We have to catch up to them. Erling wants to cling to this goal".
