The title of M Night Shyamalan's upcoming thriller is "Old", the director has announced.
On Saturday morning, he took to Twitter to announce the official name for his film: "Old".
"Feels like a miracle that I am standing here shooting the first shot of my new film". It looks to show the bottom half of an hourglass, albeit one in which grains of sand are replaced with human bodies.
"A new trip from writer/director M. Night Shymalan".
The tagline reads: "It's only a matter of time".Читайте также: European Commission to appeal against ruling that Apple needn't pay back-taxes
Not much is known about Shymalan's next feature, besides some of the cast members.
Shymalan will write and produce "Old" in addition to directing.
The ensemble cast for the film includes Eliza Scanlen (Little Women), Thomasin McKenzie (True History of the Kelly Gang), Aaron Pierce (Krypton), Vicky Krieps (Phantom Thread), Alex Wolff (Hereditary), Abbey Lee (Lovecraft Country, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Dark Tower), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Avenue 5, Gold Digger, Jupiter Ascending), Gael García Bernal (Mozart in the Jungle) and Ken Leung (Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens, Inhumans, The Blacklist).
Shymalan's most recent film "Glass" grossed $247 million at the box office in 2019 and was a sequel to his 2017 film "Split". The two superhero films were surprise sequels to his 2000 film "Unbreakable", and it brought together characters played by Bruce Willis, James McAvoy and Samuel L. Jackson. It will now hit theatres on July 23, 2021.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
