So it makes ideal sense that the leading lady and longtime Democratic Party supporter would be the one to announce a virtual Veep reunion as a fundraiser to help the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris presidential ticket win the crucial state of Wisconsin in the November 3 elections.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus took to Twitter today to announce the virtual reunion, which is a fundraiser for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
'All roads to the White House go through the great state of Wisconsin, ' the legendary Seinfeld star began with an upbeat and enthusiastic tone to her voice in the video.
The reunion will take place on October 4 at 6 p.m. CST and will feature "Veep" cast members including Louis-Dreyfus, Anna Chlumsky, Reid Scott, Sam Richardson, Tim Simons, Tony Hale, Clea Duvall and Matt Walsh, plus some surprise guests. Showrunner David Mandel will moderate the event. "You know, Trump can't win reelection if he doesn't win Wisconsin".Читайте также: Sharad Pawar meets Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai
Following cast reunions of The Princess Bride and The West Wing, Wisconsin Democrats are importing more Hollywood celebrities in their effort to turn the state blue and send President Donald Trump packing. Therefore, this is not the Democratic Party of Wisconsin's first star-studded fundraiser - they also hosted a table read of "The Princess Bride" on September 4, which raised over $4 million for the party.
In August, Louis-Dreyfus emceed the final night of the 2020 Democratic National Convention, where former Vice President Biden accepted the party's nomination for president.
