A total of 111 Lok Sabha MPs will be seated in Rajya Sabha and participate in via electronic communication. There will be no question hour and private members' business during the monsoon session.

The government's decision not to hold the all-party meeting is in addition to a similar move to abolish the Question Hour during the monsoon session of Parliament. Of the two Houses, the Lok Sabha held its first day proceedings on Monday from 9 a.m.to 1 p.m. while the Rajya Sabha proceedings which started at 3 p.m. will go on till 7 p.m. MPs were also sitting in galleries to maintain physical distancing. Entire Parliament premises was sanitized.
It has also been decided that air of air conditioners will be exchanged six times every day to avoid any possible infection.
