BTS Army has been waiting for the K-Pop boyband to drop new songs amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis across the globe.
South Korean boy band BTS have revealed the title and release date of their much-hyped upcoming single. The announcement has 'Dynamite' written on a pink background in multicolour stripes.
"The tweet read as "#BTS #방탄소년단 Dynamite #BTS_Dynamite".
The band had stated during a live, "We have prepared a new single for ARMY, set for August 21". "We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but made a decision to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible", the group explained.
They added, "Due to COVID-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we wanted to share some positive energy with our fans".
They described the upcoming song as "an extremely happy English song, just like the song "MIC Drop" released previously or the song we featured in, 'Waste It On Me.' We thought it would be more suitable to sing this song in English. The group has already tried recording the guide, and it feels really refreshing".
"In an unpredictable situation like today, we also need a new breakthrough so we have prepared this song".
The news was confirmed on the official Twitter account of the South Korean label Big Hit Entertainment, which manages BTS. While listening and recording this song, our mood naturally got better and felt like we had been energized.
