Maxwell denied the allegations during her deposition in the case in 2016, calling Giuffre an "absolute liar".
According to one of the emails unsealed Thursday, Epstein appears to have drafted a press statement for Maxwell: "Since JE was charged in 2007 for solicitation of a prostitute I have been the target of outright lies, innuendo, slander, defamation and salacious gossip and harassment; headlines, made up quotes I have never given, statements I have never made, trips with people to places I have never been, holidays with people I have never met", Epstein wrote on Jan 21, 2015.
Others were allegedly a part of Epstein's group included United Kingdom royal Prince Andrew, former Vice President Al Gore, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and Epstein's former defense attorney Alan Dershowitz.
Other documents that have now been made public include the testimony of Virginia Roberts Giuffre, a key whistle-blower in the case, who also alleges that Prince Andrew slept with her while she was a teenager (something that he has repeatedly denied, notably during his Newsnight interview in which he claims he can not remember ever meeting her).
A USA appeals court on Friday temporarily delayed the release of a 2016 deposition about Ghislaine Maxwell's sex life, after she argued it could destroy her ability to get a fair trial against criminal charges she aided the late financier Jeffrey Epstein's sexual abuse of girls. She said the couple subsequently pressured her into having sex with numerous rich or notable men, including Britain's Prince Andrew, US politicians, wealthy entrepreneurs, a famous scientist and fashion designer. One of the documents claims that a girl referred to as Jane Doe #3 was instructed by Epstein to "give the prince whatever he demanded and report back to him on the details of the sexual abuse".
She pleaded not guilty. If convicted, she could face up to 35 years in prison.
Maxwell, 58, has pleaded not guilty to helping Epstein recruit and eventually abuse three girls from 1994 to 1997, and committing perjury by denying her involvement under oath.
They show that the pair corresponded in 2015, despite Maxwell's lawyers claiming in a bail appeal this month that she had no contact with her former partner in more than a decade.
Virginia Roberts Giuffre speaks during a press conference outside a Manhattan court in NY on August 27, 2019. Prosecutors said she also joined in the abuse.
In that email, Maxwell writes Epstein she would appreciate it if a different woman "would come out say she was your g'friend - I think she was from end 99 to 2002". She's the one that procured me, told me what to do, trained me as a sex slave, abused me physically, abused me mentally.
The release of Maxwell's deposition had been scheduled for Monday, pending the outcome of the appeal.
US District Judge Loretta A. Preska had ordered them released, but Maxwell's lawyers appealed her ruling to the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals. Maxwell is now awaiting trial in NY, charged earlier this month with sex trafficking of underaged girls with Epstein and perjury. "I knew they would repeat her false accusations against me, Al and Tipper Gore and others, which her own lawyers admit are "wrong".
