Manchester United made Angel Gomes a "very good" financial offer to stay at the club, according to sources familiar with the talks, but ultimately, game time is the reason he is leaving after nearly 14 years progressing through the academy ranks.
It is a rosy picture, but one with which Solskjaer is clearly not satisfied as he explained the situation at the pre-match presser for the trip to Brighton today.
