She also admitted that she is awful with trivia questions derived from the series.
The 55-year-old actress is the first to admit that during her new interview with Jimmy Kimmel in a video interview, that debuted on Wednesday (March 26).
'I decided during this time, you know people love the show so much, I made a decision to binge watch Friends!' she said, adding, 'I just started season one! Does it still hold up?
Cox was chatting with Kimmel on his YouTube Quarantine Minilogue, which he began after his late-night talk show was taken off air as a result of the pandemic.
"I don't even remember even being on the show". The actress revealed that she's been hunkered down with plenty of junk food, but she's starting to miss her regularly-scheduled activities. Cox asked, befuddled, like the rest of us were when we watched that episode.
She also confirmed that filming for the long-awaited Friends reunion special, which was announced in February, has been postponed due to the coronavirus crisis.
"I keep getting asked all these questions about Friends".
"I remember loving everybody there and having fun", Courteney shared.
Cox went on to joke that while she remembers her character's name, she doesn't recall much beyond that. But I don't remember episodes. "I would never pass, I'd fail every test!" "I just started season one - it's really good!" "I just started Season 1". And with everyone socially distancing themselves from Central Perk, Cox thought this would be a great time to see what her Friends have been up to.
That's when Kimmel tapped into his secret weapon: His cousin Anthony, a self-proclaimed "Friends" superfan. "Courteney, you've got to do some binging to catch up", said Kimmel.
