There are no words to describe the amount of love and light in my heart right now.
"Things he liked to eat - and what's so special for us is getting married in Australia Zoo, it's dad favourite place on the planet, he built the place with his bare hands so it will be really nice I think to celebrate the day surrounded by love and light".
"We've planned this handsome day for almost a year and had to change everything, as we didn't have guests at our wedding", she explained. Now, Bindi's looking forward to sharing photos and videos with family and friends. "Today we celebrated life and reveled in every lovely moment we shared together in our Australia Zoo gardens". "Mum helped me get ready, [brother] Robert walked me down the aisle, Chandler became my husband and together we lit a candle in Dad's memory", Irwin said of late father Steve Irwin, best known as The Crocodile Hunter.
Her little brother Robert walked her down the aisle on a day that was filled with "smiles and tears".
"It's where we met, it's where we got engaged, it only makes sense we'd have it at Australia Zoo", Chandler told Good Morning America. "To everyone reading this - stay safe, social distance and remember LOVE WINS", Bindi added on Instagram.
And in the comments of Bindi's post, Robert admitted seeing his sister marry Chandler was "one of the most special moments" of his life.
Bindi first revealed she was engaged in a post on Instagram in July a year ago, sharing a number of images of the special moment.
It was on Bindi's 21st birthday in July 2019 that Chandler proposed.
"I'm walking Bindi down the aisle, which is just gonna be awesome", he said. "You're always with me", she wrote.
Helicopter vision shared by 7NEWS shows preparations well underway for what appears to be a wedding at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast. Today, March 25, 2020, marks the most fantastic day of my life. "Proposing in her very favourite place in the zoo, surrounded by animals, seemed like the ideal way to embark on this incredible new chapter in our lives".
