"Bernie's labeled himself, not me, a democratic socialist", Biden said before acknowledging his own political challenges.
As Breitbart News reported, Sanders won the popular vote in last Monday's Iowa Democrat Caucuses' first alignment by more than 6,000 votes over Buttigieg, 24.7 percent to 21.2 percent, but Buttigieg was projected to receive two more delegates out of Iowa than Sanders, 14 to 12. The ad reflects a new sense of urgency in Biden's campaign: the former vice president and his aides have announced that they will lose New Hampshire too - but his campaign is trying to get back on its feet when the race later moves to Nevada and SC becomes month.
"If we win here in New Hampshire and with your help, I think we can win". On Saturday morning, the campaign posted an online video attacking Buttigieg that was one of the harshest intraparty broadsides of the Democratic primary.
These are early days, but what all of this means is that there is at the least the perception that Buttigieg has momentum, and he may be a stronger candidate than Biden, among voters looking for a middle-of-the-road voice.
"This precinct chair caucused for a candidate other than Pete Buttigieg", Drahozal said. "Now, I like Pete, he's a smart guy, he's a nice guy".
"We've got a lot of primaries, a lot of elections between now and the convention, and we need to be able to get back on track", Gabbard continued. If a candidate is snubbed or forced out despite winning the most delegates before, the turnout rate would be so low that President Trump would have an easy re-election campaign.
But he said the addition of paper ballots would nearly certainly slow down the process - and if the people responsible for the caucus aren't well trained, they could inadvertently reproduce the small but widespread errors that have already been documented in Iowa.
She did respond, though, when asked on ABC's This Week about Buttigieg's fundraising.
"The coalition of billionaires is not exactly what's going to carry us over the top", Warren said.
Asked if Buttigieg's answer was sufficient, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren said: "No".
"From the words of my buddy John McCain, there is nothing more liberating than a cause bigger than yourself", Klobuchar frequently says in her campaign stump speech.
Biden's campaign is urgently trying to recalibrate, shaking up its senior leadership and signaling that the former vice president won't go down without a fight.
