Wendy Williams was overcome with emotion while discussing the news that Dwyane Wade's 12-year-old - now Zaya Wade - came out as transgender. I want to be referenced as she and her, I would love for you guys to call me Zaya, ' " Wade shared. I think going forth, I'm ready to live my truth.
In the caption, the 18 years of age composed: "Man, I remember bugging my mom as a child telling her I wanted a brother so bad. I'd love for you guys to call me Zaya'".
Editor's Note: You're supporting the delusions of a 12-year-old who is struggling to discover his identity and differentiate himself from his peers. We take our roles and our accountability as mother and father very severely.
"Meet Zaya", Union, 47, captioned the clip Tuesday. When our child comes home with a query or a problem or anything, it is our job as parents to listen to and provide them the very best advice and opinions which we are able to.
"What's the point of being on this earth if you're gonna try to be someone you're not?' she said".
Plus it is apparent Zaya has pure love and assistance from each and every member of her loved ones. Within an Instagram article he shared February 12, Zaire shared two throwback photographs of him Zaya if they had been really little.
She added, "It's just like, be true and don't really care what the stereotypical way of being you is". It's Ok to listen to, love & respect your children exactly as they are.
It appears, too, that Zaya is so proud to now be dwelling the life she was meant to. Zaire says that nothing will change between him and Zaya, despite what people have to say about her. "And we are proud allies as well".
DeGeneres also mentioned that Wade and his family are working closely with the GLSEN organisation, which aims to create affirming learning environments for LGBTQ youth and can be a good resource for these children and their loved ones.
We're SO proud of you, Zaya! 'Your strength, intelligence, and conscientious worldview is impressive - thank you for being you!'
