The 23-year-old has left the villa after realising he's still in love with his ex-girlfriend Laura, who he split from last year following an 18-month relationship. "If I carried on anything with Paige, or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn't be fair on them".
"He told producers and acted on his feelings as soon as he made up his mind".
The 23-year-old, who is heir to the Lanhydrock estate in Cornwall, said that he chose to exit the series after realising he is still in love with his ex-girlfriend while "coupled up" with contestant Paige Turley.
It is believed the photos were taken and published on an Instagram account to promote his hunting business Cornish Sporting Agency.
The first episode of winter Love Island on Sunday night was watched by 2.51 million viewers - down 800,000 from the 3.3 million who tuned into the summer 2019 series.
At time of publication the petition has over 39,000 signatures.
Love Island has confirmed that Ollie has left the villa.
