Les ministres à Matignon pour 'encore améliorer' la réforme et — Retraites

Pour ce séminaire dominical, les ministres sont arrivés en ordre dispersé et en tenue souvent très décontractée, à l'image de Christophe Castaner ou Sibeth Ndiaye, en jeans et baskets.

C'était une promesse de campagne d'Emmanuel Macron.

"Il y a beaucoup de Français qui s'interrogent".

"Le Premier ministre a demandé à l'ensemble de ses ministres de faire tout leur possible pour limiter au maximum l'impact de la grève sur les Français et accompagner au mieux ceux qui iront travailler, qui amèneront leurs enfants à l'école et qui devront se déplacer", a encore indiqué Matignon, en précisant que le chef du gouvernement avait "demandé un point complet sur les plans de continuité des services publics et sur le partage de l'information avec les collectivités territoriales et les entreprises qui peuvent contribuer autant que faire se peut à l'amélioration de la situation".

" La liberté de manifester, la liberté de faire grève sont deux libertés auxquelles nous sommes tous évidemment attachés", a ajouté le Premier ministre, missionné en première ligne par Emmanuel Macron sur ce dossier explosif.

Selon un sondage Ifop, les Français se disent très largement favorables à une réforme du système de retraites (76%), mais sont seulement 36% à faire confiance au gouvernement pour la mener. Le mouvement du 5 décembre obtient le soutien ou la sympathie de 46 % des sondés.

Accusé par l'opposition d'entretenir volontairement le flou sur ses intentions, l'exécutif a envoyé des signaux à la fois d'ouverture et de fermeté ces derniers jours.

Quitte à lâcher du lest sur des thèmes chers aux syndicats, comme les droits familiaux, la pénibilité ou les "garanties " attendues par les enseignants.

Mais hors de question de renoncer à réformer.

"Je pense qu'il y aura une mobilisation forte des organisations syndicales et un risque de blocage à la RATP et à la SNCF", les transports parisiens et la compagnie ferroviaire nationale, a concédé le ministre de l'Intérieur Christophe Castaner, avant de répéter que le gouvernement ne reculerait pas. "Nous n'échouerons pas, la réforme se fera", a ajouté le ministre des Comptes publics, Gérald Darmanin dans " Le JDD ", estimant que les régimes spéciaux de retraite, pour lesquels " l'État verse chaque année 8 milliards d'euros ne se justifient plus ".

L'exécutif craint surtout que la mobilisation s'étende au-delà de quelques catégories et vire à la crise sociale d'ampleur. Et envisage avec une certaine angoisse la journée d'action des "gilets jaunes" prévue le samedi 7 décembre, un an pile après le pic de violence de leur mouvement.
