While the four new designs on the paper cuts are super cute, the reusable cup puts a fun spin on the classic red holiday cup.
The carrier and coffee giant have teamed up for a limited-time promotion, allowing Alaska customers to receive priority boarding on flights between November 7 and 10 if they hop on the aircraft with a Starbucks holiday cup in hand.
The Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and can't forget the Eggnog Latte. The company also has a reusable holiday cup.
Jen Quotson, vice president of Starbucks Creative, said this year's holiday design was created to evoke mini moments of joy for customers and partners.
There seems to be something about the word "Christmas" that Starbucks doesn't like.
Plus, this year Starbucks is making sure that its cafes look festive. "We wanted coming to Starbucks to be like uncovering a present". This year, customers with Starbucks holiday cups will be able to board before all standard, economy class passengers but not before first-class or specialty boarding (people flying with young children, people with disabilities, mileage plan members, premium class, or active members of the military). Each cup design has a unifying green stripe on the back, finishing the cup like a ribbon.
Starting today, you'll get your hot drinks in either a Polka Dots, Merry Dance, Merry Stripes or Candy Cane Stripe designed cup.
All four cups use traditional colors, red and green, although that was a point of contention in the past. But up close, its tiny type offers a happy holiday sentiment.
