Oakland was 1-7 at this stage of the season a year ago and while the Raiders may not play football in January, they are certainly on an upward curve.
Alec Ingold gets home - The rookie fullback has been a key cog in the Raiders' offense in 2019, and while Ingold's stats won't necessarily blow you away, make no mistake about it, the man deserves a handshake for everything he's done in 2019.
"We just found a way to win". While Ingold played just 12 snaps (21 percent) at the OACC, he no doubt made the a lot of them, converting a fourth down on his lone carry of the game, as well as hauling in a nine-yard reception for touchdown - the first of his career.
"I'm just going to continue to hit that chord".
A 300-yard, two-touchdown game is likely for Rivers tonight. "I knew this would either be a big run or a first down and luckily it was a big run".
Daniel Carlson missed the extra point, putting more pressure on the exhausted Raiders defense to stop Rivers. But we'll be a hard out to get. We compete. You may beat us.

Oakland safety Erik Harris intercepted Rivers twice in the first quarter, returning the second interception 56 yards for the game's first touchdown with 6:02 left in the period.
· Chargers running back Troymaine Pope (Anniston, Jacksonville State) returned three kickoffs for 52 yards.
Their defense, however, was unable to prevent the Raiders from coming right back and retaking the lead. But Rivers responded by throwing two TD passes, including the go-ahead score to Ekeler in his final start at the Coliseum.
Coming off a 26-11 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the Chargers dropped to 4-6 with their Thursday night setback.
