Inspired, no doubt, by a good old love story, South African social media users are rallying behind a couple after a video of their proposal at a KFC outlet went viral. Then it appealed for help finding the couple.
With a little help from two viral hashtags: #KFCProposal and #KFCWedding, the couple were soon identified as Bhut' Hector and Nonhlanhla.
From donations to pro-bono wedding invites and accessories, South Africans are truly coming together to make this lovely couple's day flawless.
DJ Fresh offered to donate DJ sets.
Then the brands got involved, offering free transportation, food and drink for the couple's big day and their upcoming honeymoon.

KFC spokesperson, Refilwe Ntuku said they have been planning something special for the happy couple and that there might be something special for the person who finds the couple too. The video received more than 600,000 views by Friday afternoon. "The whole country's got a bloody wedding!" The media personality took to Twitter to say, "If the wedding committee will have me".
While some social media commentary poked fun at the man's decision to choose KFC as the venue to pop the question, most reactions were positive.
The company has since confirmed that the search is over: "South Africa, you guys are awesome".
