Stranger Things season 3 changed the game in its final episode, as a superpower-less Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) left Hawkins, Indiana with the Byers family: Joyce (Winona Ryder), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and Will (Noah Schnapp). In speaking on this transition, Matt Duffer noted, "I think the biggest thing that's going to happen is it's going to open up a little bit, not necessarily in terms of scale, in terms of special effects, but open up in terms of allowing plotlines into areas outside of Hawkins".
With the gap between Season 2 and Season 3 roughly a year and 8 months, this means the wait for Stranger Things Season 4 - which might I add hasn't been actually announced by Netflix yet - could potentially be interminably long.
I think the Stranger Things version is wonderful!
However, with the Cold War still raging, the Demogorgon could be used as a military weapon against the West and America by the Russians. And because we know you've been dying to hear it again (on repeat), you can check out the scene in its entirety embedded at the top of the article.
That figure for season three was "more than any other film or series in its first four days", the company said. After all, per the streamer's internal (and highly secretive) numbers, the season three premiere broke a viewing record in four days.
Brennan was last seen seemingly devoured by demogorgons, but then in season two Eleven was told he was still alive.
"We view these figures as notably positive given the potential to drive gross sub additions both at the end of 2Q19 and into 3Q19 on the back of arguably NFLX's highest-profile show", Cowen & Co.'s internet and new media analyst team wrote in a research note released on Tuesday according to Variety. (I watched some episodes on TV, and others on my tablet.) That's part of why Netflix disputes third party measurements like this from Nielsen, saying they don't take into account other devices or showcase the streamer's worldwide reach. What if Brenner and the Demogorgon that attacked him were somehow scooped up by the Russians, who then extracted the information that led them to build their base under the Starcourt Mall?
So what say you, executive producer Shawn Levy? "And should there be a season 4, I think we'll see them all explored".
