Ehsan Mani said the prime objective to make the PSL an independent organisation is to make sure that decisions are being taken timely on professional lines and to make the league a profit earning venture besides making it a quality event, being participated by the world best players.
India and Pakistan have not played any bilateral series since January 2013.
"We will not beg India or any other country to play cricket with us; we want resumption of bilateral cricket ties with India in a decent and dignified manner", the Dawn quoted Mani as telling the media at the Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.
PCB chairman further said, "We will host the Sri Lankan team for two Test matches of this inaugural edition of the event in September". They should be fair to all teams.
"I was part of the 1999, 2003 and 2007 World Cups but the board never allowed players to have their families with them during the tournament", Yousuf said.
The PCB initially had refused to give permission to the players to have their families with them in the World Cup but it later changed its mind and said families could stay in the team hotel after the match against Australia which Pakistan lost.
"We want to see our cricket arenas having worldwide cricket activities on a regular basis, the way it used to be in the past and we are speeding up our efforts and contacts with cricket playing nations, as (now) things have improved a lot as far as the security situation is concerned", he said.
