Ashley Massaro, a former WWE wrestler and reality TV contestent, has died, the WWE said Thursday. TMZ reported that the cause of Massaros death is not yet known only that she was transported from her home in NY to a hospital Thursday morning.
Ashley Massaro of WWE and "Survivor" fame has died at the age of 39. "She was the happiest I have seen her in years, so stoked that people still cared about her 11 years after her career was over". She left WWE in 2008. There she battled physical illness in her first six days and was the second contestant voted out of the game. She also claimed that Vince McMahon once ordered the backstage crew to saw off a cast on her hand weeks before it was scheduled to come off so that she could perform that night.
Mick Foley wrote: "This is just very bad news - Ashley Massaro is gone".

SHe returned to professional wrestling in 2017 for a match against another former WWE Diva in Jillian Hall.
