Taylor Swift returned to The Ellen Show for the first time in four years, in an episode that airs Wednesday, May 15, with the singer opening up about her most rebellious teenage moment, which actually happened on her show.
Swift chats with Ellen about a number of topics, including her "ME!" music video, her proclivity for leaving "Easter Eggs", rumors about "Avengers: Endgame", her role in the upcoming "Cats" adaptation, and more.
Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas used to be an item back in 2008.
Indeed there was but it was less of a tune about "love" than it was about the boy who broke her heart (Jonas) - and over the shortest phone call ever, no less, as Swift revealed on the show.
She told Ellen in her new interview: "Probably when I like put Joe Jonas on blast on your show".
Swift explained: "There's one [song] that's about that guy, but that guy's not in my life anymore, unfortunately". 'That was too much, that was too much'.
"I was 18, yeah", she added. "We laugh about it now, but that was mouthy, yeah, some teenage stuff there". "That's ouch", she said of the song "Forever and Always".
Yes, that's certainly "ouch" and Swift made no apologies, adding, "Sorry, I had to". Ah, snap... I'm sorry to hear that and so are the millions and millions of other people that just heard that.
She also said that she got a last-minute recording session in when she realized the relationship was going downhill, right before the album came out.

Taylor Swift, 29, has been in a happy relationship with actor Joe Alwyn for almost three years, meaning she's had some time to be reflective on her past relationships.
In 2015, when Jonas was asked about Swift, he told Access Hollywood, "She's great".
