Today, we're getting another leak, backing up the claims of the previous one, and adding a double-camera confirmation in the 2019 iPhone Xr successor's bag.
Originally, it was reported that the next generation iPhone would be available in blue and coral colorways, but now it looks like those color choices are being replaced by green and purple. 3 on the high end, 2 on the new XR. Japanese blog Macotakara posted a similar report earlier this week that the 6.1-inch iPhone 11 model would feature six colors with lavender and green joining white, black, yellow and the (Product) Red model. Last year's models came in silver, space gray and gold.
The report goes on to state that the new iPhone 11 family codenames have already been revealed with the iPhone 11 being called D43, the iPhone 11 Max is referred to as D44 and the iPhone 11R is termed as N104.
We still don't know what the phones will actually be called, but considering how early we knew the names of both the iPhone XS and iPhone XR past year, it's only a matter of time before these leak as well.
The first and biggest upgrade that will be found on the Apple iPhone 11/ 11 Max is the triple rear camera setup that's housed in a new square camera bump.
Meanwhile, more case renders have surfaced over on SlashLeaks that give us an idea of what the upcoming device's camera might look like while decked out in a third party housing (it still ain't pretty, as it turns out). We know numerous changes and upgrades, we know the design will be similar to that of the 2018 lineup, and we now might know the colors of the iPhone 11R lineup.
Apple is expected to unveil the 2019 iPhone XR-probably with a different name than that-this fall.
