In a series of fresh tweets, Rangoli has now attacked Mahesh Bhatt and made more sarcastic comments against Alia Bhatt, in an attempt to defend her sister Kangana Ranaut. During her promotional interviews for Kalank, when Alia was asked about Kangana's recent attack on calling her Gully Boy work "mediocre", she had told Bollywood Hungama, "I respect Kangana's work a lot and I respect her opinion".
After Page 3 screenwriter Nina Arora supported Alia and wrote, "Kangna up to her old tricks-pretending ya sis' handle!" Her mother, Soni Razdan, also tweeted for the #VoteOutHate campaign.
Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan's tweets angered Kangana Ranaut's sister, and well, phadda ab khandaano tak pohanch gaya hai..
And went on to accuse Mahesh Bhatt of throwing a chappal at Kangana.. Rangoli replied sarcastically, "Of course Kangana is jealous of Alia's super model looks and fashion sense, remarkable multiple national awards winning acting skills along with superhuman action style, Her exceptional IQ and speeches along with refreshing writings, directorial skills.(contd)". Daughter over and over again.
Sharing an article critical of them, Rangoli had stated: "These non Indians who are living off this land, using and abusing its people and its resources, lying about intolerance and spreading hatred, time to think about their agenda and not to get carried away with their provocations". Apart from character of course.
Some Twitter users were convinced that Kangana took over her sister's account to stick it to the Bhatt family..
"I am embarrassed... What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance ....same snappy muh phat girl..." Media have taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised. And I'd just like to focus on my work.
Earlier today, Randeep Hooda came to Alia Bhatt's defence via a not-so-very-cryptic tweet.
