Depp has denied all of Heard's previous allegations of abuse, and is suing his ex-wife over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in December 2018 in which she described being an alleged victim of domestic violence.
The 32-year-old filed a motion on Thursday requesting that a judge dismiss Depp's suit, E!
"I began to witness Johnny abusing drugs and alcohol ... I anxious that Johnny was in a blacked-out state and unaware of the damage he was doing, and that he could actually kill me", Heard said. Heard has shared alleged screenshots of texts Depp sent to her as an apology, appearing as "Steve" for privacy measures.Steve is seen making a reference to an "illness" and writes in the texts, "Once again, I find myself in a place of shame and regret".
Waldman also claimed that the Aquaman actress was visited by two police officers shortly after the video was taken and they allegedly found nothing like she described in her deposition.
"He was about to push my sister down the stairs", the actress emotionally explains, adding, "When he laid hands on her I don't know what I did, but I know I jumped in between the action that I saw could lead to a fatal accident with my sister". "Honey, you've hit me in the eye, '" she said.
Depp, who maintains he never laid a finger on her, was not there. "Based on our understanding of the circumstances, the filmmakers and I are not only comfortable sticking with our original casting, but genuinely happy to have Johnny playing a major character in the movies".
Warner Bros have a little bit more time to make a decision on Depp's future, as even though Rowling has finished the script for Fantastic Beasts 3, filming has been delayed to the autumn of 2020, while it won't hit cinemas now until 2021.
Heard's personal account was graphic and painful to read - but, according to Depp's attorney, it was complete fiction.
