ESPN reported Myers will sign a four-year deal worth $15-16 million.
Myers was 33 of 36 on field-goal attempts in NY and was named to the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career - the first Jets kicker to be selected in franchise history. An average salary of $4 million per year would make him one of the 10 highest-paid kickers in the NFL.
The Seattle Seahawks have made a big splash in free agency.
Myers then was signed by the Jets, with whom he made the AFC Pro Bowl team after hitting on 33 of 36 field goals, including 6 of 7 from 50 yards or beyond. Kendricks is facing a sentencing hearing in April after pleading guilty to insider trading past year, and Janikowski is 41 and was injured attempting a long field goal in Seattle's playoff loss to the Cowboys. Myers also had a game in 2018 where he hit seven field goals, which is tied for the second most in one game in National Football League history.
Janikowski, who turned 41 on March 2, performed admirably last season by making 22-of-27 field goals (81.4 percent).
Myers, who turns 28 on May 12, is a native of Chula Vista, Calf., and attended Marist College, will now get more than four times that to return to the Seahawks.
The Seattle Seahawks hope they have found the solution for their recent kicking troubles.
Seattle has struggled with the kicking position since Stephen Hauschka left for Buffalo after the 2016 season. Rookie punter Michael Dickson was named to the NFC Pro Bowl team last season.
