Dawson, 39, went public about her relationship with the New Jersey Democrat in an on-camera interview with the celebrity news website TMZ.com as she was strolling through Reagan National Airport near Washington.
Rosario Dawson and 2020 presidential candidate Sen.
"So far, so wonderful", the political activist said of the relationship when TMZ caught up with her at the airport. "It's good to spend some time together when we can". But on Thursday, when asked if Booker would make a great president, she answered, "I think so - he's an wonderful human being".
"Yeah", she answered while huffing through the terminal in a black beanie. She then showed off the "We Rise" Booker 2020 sticker attached to her cross-body purse.
Rumors of their fling first circulated in January 2019 after they were seen at the movies, and then at a Broadway performance of Dear Evan Hansen.
Booker recently confirmed he was all loved-up during an appearance on radio show The Breakfast Club, but stopped short of naming his "boo". Booker, of course, is grounded in the District and New Jersey. If Dawson and Booker do end up getting married, Rosario Dawson has a chance at being the next First Lady of the United States.
So are wedding bells in their future? Dawson, though, played it cool. "I'm just grateful to be with someone I admire and love and respect so much and who is so brilliant and kind and caring and loving".
Asked whether an engagement might be on the horizon, she said, "I have no idea".
