Andy Cohen's newborn son is so precious! He didn't cry; he was just calm.
Upon first meeting his son in the delivery room, Cohen admits the pair just sat and "stared at each other for about two hours" - and now, nine days after Benjamin's birth, "I just sit and stare at him". I had been hoping that he would have a full head of hair, and he really overdelivered.
"They cleaned him up little bit, I took my shirt off, and they put him right there, and he was so alert", Andy said. "And I was amazed". "I kind of feel like, 'Oh, these are the reasons I shouldn't be sleeping'". She was in California.

"It takes a village, as they say, so I really wanted him, and the fact that he's here and he's so ideal and he's in wonderful health and I have great gratitude for my surrogate and all the people who helped me get to this place and I'm just thrilled". My surrogate just viewed it as, she was giving me the ultimate gift.
"I'm chill, Hoda", the new dad says when Hoda Kotb points out that she, Savannah Guthrie and the rest of the Today team have never seen him with "this look in [his] eye" before. "So I'll be forever indebted to her".
"I think the biggest moment for me in the process was this summer", Cohen recalls.
"I was shooting the Southern Charm reunion and we were on a lunch break, and my surrogate texted me a video of the first sonogram. It would have to be a very special person to say let's do this together", he explained.
"Tonight, I want you to be the first to know that after many years of careful deliberation, a fair amount of prayers and the benefit of science - if all goes according to plan, in about six weeks time I'm going to become a father", he said on the episode. "That's just part of the job".
