The celebs arrived at Delhi airport this afternoon for their meet with the PM and were clicked by the paparazzi. Like their December meeting, several Bollywood stars took to their social media pages to share their photos with Modi on this occasion too.
Sharing the picture, Karan Johar's lengthy Instagram post read, "Powerful and timely conversations can bring about change and this was one of what we hope will become a regular conversation".
Johar uploaded a selfie with Modi and the rest of the group on Instagram and described the meeting as "an incredible opportunity".
Reportedly, the meeting was organised by Karan Johar and Mahavir Jain, to discuss the young talent of the entertainment industry about their participation and contribution towards nation-building. Together we would love to inspire and ignite positive changes to a transformative India. "Ps- I missed eye contact here cause I was taking facing #jaihind", wrote actor Varun Dhawan on his social media handle.
PM Modi's previous meeting with Bollywood producers and actors drew flak on social media for not having any female representation on the panel. He then went to the girls, where Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar shied away, though Ekta Kapoor and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari wished him hello again.
