The brothers of English footballers Marcus Rashford and Trent Alexander-Arnold were attacked at gunpoint on Sunday..
Three people were injured in the raid, police said, although it is unclear if the footballer's brothers were hurt. Alexander-Arnold, who like Rashford is an England global, played all of Premier League leaders Liverpool's match at the Amex Stadium.
Police were told that the gang carried a shotgun, machete and baseball bat, and turned up to the restaurant in a white BMW 3 series.
