What can fans expect from the final season of Game of Thrones?
The arrival of winter in Westeros made the final season of Game of Thrones especially gruelling, says Jon Snow himself, aka Kit Harington. I don't know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so fucking tiring.
The last season of Game of Thrones "seemed to be created to break us", says Kit Harrington.
"We were sleep deprived".
"I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, 'I've had enough now. I love this, it's been the best thing in my life, I'll miss it one day - but I'm done, '" Harington added. The process of going to work, having a day with your colleagues, coming back to your family, cooking, having stuff in the fridge...it sounds odd to say, but it's the thing I'm looking forward to most. "But more than anything else, I thank it for introducing me to her", Harington gushes. After nine years I'll be at home.
The pair bought a pricey 15th century home in East Anglia in the United Kingdom last year, the Independent reports.
After what has seemed like an excruciatingly long wait, it's hard to believe that we're just a few short months away from the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, which is promised to be a gloriously epic conclusion to the beloved HBO series. It won't be here until spring - April 2019, to be precise.
In an interview with GQ Australia that was published on Wednesday, Harington revealed that the scene he read to audition for the HBO drama was from a season 3 episode in which Jon is already head over heels for his Wilding lady love. "They'll be dancing around the bigger numbers, I know that for sure", he confirmed in a Reddit AMA in November.
