Dillian Whyte has revealed Anthony Joshua has made an "utterly ridiculous" first offer for the pair to fight on April 13.
"There's been a first offer but it is utterly ridiculous", Whyte told Jim White on talkSPORT, "It's way less than what I made against Chisora basically".
'It's just silly, I'm a pay-per-view fighter now in the United Kingdom which I've built by myself against all the odds.
'It's not like I'm a journeyman. I've had nine fights since I fought him and won them all in spectacular fashion.
'It is a childish offer, they know what I bring to the table, if he doesn't get Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury then I am the only one who sells Wembley out'. Whyte did manage to rock Joshua in that fight, and he also owns an amateur victory over his rival.
Wilder and Fury are the other two fighters consistently linked with Joshua, but former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has said that he believes that current heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua does not want to fight either man.
Joseph Parker is desperate for a rematch with Dillian Whyte after losing to the rugged Brit on points last July. Now Whyte has poured more cold water on a potential meeting. Big Baby, who is his stablemate at Matchroom, could land a fight with Joshua later in the year as the champion looks to make it in the US.
"We fought twice already, no-one's gonna complain about the fight, so what's the problem?"
Anthony Joshua now holds four of the heavyweight belts but has been accused of ducking his rivals.
But amid talk of an unlikely return, Whyte said he'd "happily fight" Klitschko, claiming: 'He won't be coming back ever again after I'm done with him. There's middle ground, there's OK ground and there's way, way, way off.
But Whyte seemingly has no intention of offering Parker another shot, expressing his desire to face Fury or American Dominic Breazeale if terms can not be agreed with Joshua.
Meanwhile, reports suggest Whyte could face the retired Wladimir Klitschko.
'It it's very unlikely that I'll be fighting AJ in April.
"I know exactly what to do. I trained alongside him, I sparred him for years and I know what he's like, I'd knock him out".
