Fashion designer Beckham posted on Instagram on Monday that she wouldn't join the other four Spice Girls on stage again, but wished Geri Horner (Ginger Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) well for their six-date tour next year.
In a new taped interview for The Jonathan Ross Show, which will air in the United Kingdom on Saturday, Mel C says, "Do you know what is actually quite amusing? It's going to be odd, you know, because none of us can watch the Spice Girls on stage but she will be able to", Chisholm said of Beckham during an interview for Heart Radio. But she did raise the point that she was never actually asked, ' Mel C admitted.
Geri added: 'She just didn't want to do it. She was busy with her fashion and she has moved on. The philosophy of us is that we're a band, on and off stage and we really do care for each other, we support one another and support her, she's been a huge part of our lives and we truly care about her, so it's all good'.
'We realised that a while back that she didn't enjoy that so much, ' Emma said.
Regardless, Mrs. Golden Balls has given the girls her seal of approval, and Geri assured: 'The door is always open.' Viva Forever. We think first things first, get out there and sing the hits.
British pop band the Spice Girls joked on Wednesday about their plans for a new album after announcing they would reunite for a United Kingdom tour next year but said it would feel odd performing without "Posh Spice" Victoria Beckham.
'I know they will put on an unbelievable show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!
