A 74-year-old Long Island, New York, man was arrested Friday for allegedly threatening two USA senators because they supported Kavanaugh's rise to the Supreme Court, CNBC reported, citing federal authorities.

Authorities said that Derisi had left a series of threatening voicemails at the two Senators' offices in which he threatened to kill them, according to the criminal complaint which was obtained by TMZ. The complaint details some of the voicemails.
DeRisi allegedly called the home state offices of the senators and left "expletive-laced" threats, according to the federal complaint. "It's a nine millimeter. Side of your f***ing skull you scumbag motherf*****".
In a September 27 message, DeRisi allegedly left a voice message claiming he had a "present" for "Senator-1" (Grassley), saying, "It's a 9 millimeter. Nine millimeter, side of the head, you [expletive] old bastard!"
Nearly an hour later, at 5.42pm, the caller left another voicemail for the same Senator, in which he appeared to say that he was "tired" of the Senator "sucking taxpayers" money!
U.S. Capitol Police said Derisi left 10 voicemails for another unnamed senator beginning October 6, the day Kavanaugh was confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
Another day, another unhinged Democrat is arrested for threatening to kill Republicans. Susan Collins' husband opened a letter sent to the couple's home on Monday claiming to contain the deadly chemical ricin and specifically mentioning Collins' support for Kavanaugh. The senator's husband was unharmed.
"Representative democracy can not work if elected officials are threatened with death for simply doing their job", Richard Donoghue, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of NY, said in a statement.
"The First Amendment - the pinnacle of American achievement - protects debate, disagreement and dissent, not death threats".
"We and all those dedicated to the rule of law will not tolerate the use violence and threats of violence in attempts to prevail in political disputes", he said.
'(Brett Kavanaugh) will be the focal point, but by no means the only target, so bring your rage and all of the axes you've got to grind'.
