Fitness Boxing is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, and will be released at retail and via the Nintendo eShop on December 21, 2018.
The game features a series of rhythm-based boxing workouts, each set to instrumental versions of hits from artists including LMFAO, Lady Gaga, Carly Rae Jepson, and, of course, Maroon 5.
Ever since the Wii, Nintendo has striven to deliver games that help you in your day-to-day life, whether it be the workouts of Wii Fit to the brain busters found in Brain Age. Wii-Fit Trainer even went on to be a surprise character on the fighter roster of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
Play cooperatively with or competitively against friends and family in 2-player local play with two sets of Joy-Con controllers or by sharing a pair.
A Switch game is a fair bit cheaper than a 12-month gym membership you use twice. If you prefer to work out with a buddy, you can use two sets of Joy-Con controllers or share a pair to enjoy working out cooperatively or test your skills by facing off against each other in a virtual ring!
A daily training feature in Fitness Boxing offers both low and high-intensity options, with customisable trainers available to personalise your experience. The game will also track your progress by estimating your BMI (for what it's worth) and daily calorie burn. Choose from a diverse group of trainers and customize their look with unlockable trainer outfits. As you progress, you can earn more songs and more challenging training circuits.
