Wilson owns the company Defense Distributed, which makes blueprints for untraceable 3D printed guns. The American Institute of Taiwan cancelled Wilson's passport and Taiwan's National Immigration Agency said he therefore no longer had a legal status in Taiwan and was "now urging the American Institute of Taiwan to issue a valid travel document for Mr. Wilson, so he can be deported back to the USA accordingly".
Officer said Wilson missed a scheduled flight back to the US from Taipei earlier this week.
TAIPEI, Taiwan Authorities in Taiwan arrested the owner of a Texas company that sells plans to make untraceable 3-D printed guns who is wanted in the USA over an accusation that he had sex with an underage girl and paid her $500 afterward, official media reported.
Authorities had issued an arrest warrant for Wilson, 30, on Wednesday in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor.
On Sept. 19, Wilson was charged with sexual assault in Texas, where he is based, after he was accused of having sex with a 16-year-old girl and subsequently paying her $500.
According to BuzzFeed News, Wilson had fled the US for Taiwan after the alleged victim's friend tipped him off to the police investigation into the incident, and had reportedly signed a six-month contract for an apartment one day prior to his arrest.
A lawyer for Wilson, as well as representatives of the Austin police department and the US Marshals Service, were not immediately available for comment on Friday.
The victim disclosed the details about the incident to a counselor, who informed Austin police.

Wilson's Texas driver's license picture also matched the "Sanjuro" profile image on SugarDaddyMeet.com, police said.
According to the affidavit for arrest, Wilson courted the 16-year-old victim on a dating website designed for successful men to meet younger women. He paid her $500 for sex. The crime is a second-degree felony, punishable by up to 20 years in prison. They met in Austin on August 15 where Wilson brought her back to a hotel room. Investigators said they were able to corroborate the victim's story by reviewing phone records and surveillance video from the locations they were together.
