Hollywood actor Richard Gere is reportedly set to become a dad again just a year short of his 70th birthday.
Richard Gere is reportedly expecting a child with his 35-year-old wife Alejandra Silva, at the age of 69.
Richard and Alejandra first had a civil ceremony in her native Spain in April then celebrated with a second wedding for family and friends a few weeks later on Cinco de Mayo at the actor's estate in Pound Ridge, New York. The "Pretty Woman" star exchanged vows with Silva after four years together at a civil ceremony in Spain in April before celebrating the occasion with friends and family at his home near NY.
He admitted after the U.S. blessing: 'I am the happiest man in the universe, how could I not be?'
The pair both have children of their own. Alejandra is the mother of 5-year-old Albert, her son with ex-husband Govind Friedland. Gere's first wife was none other than Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995, and he later Wednesday and divorced Carey Lowell.
The daughter of a former vice president of soccer team Real Madrid and former publicist opened to HOLA! about her relationship with Gere in a 2016 interview and said, "I was a little lost, without light, and knowing him gave meaning to my life".
'I felt like someone was stretching out his hand and showing me the true path'.
MailOnline has contacted a spokesperson for Gere for comment.
