And apparently Disney has dropped the Wreck-It Ralph 2 from its title. "But as the movie goes on you realize how fun, wise and warm she really is on the inside, which is what I like most about her".
What do you think about Gadot's new character in Ralph Breaks the Internet? Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope's video game, Sugar Rush. Shank comes in contact with Ralph and Vanellope, voiced by John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman respectively, when the duo are looking for a replacement steering wheel for Vanellope's own racing vehicle in her game Sugar Rush.
In the short video Gadot posted along with the image of Shank, we get a little taste of what to expect with Shank and a small teaser of the plot of the movie, which involves an intimidating auto race called Slaughter Race. If Ralph is Vanellope's big-brother figure, we wanted a big-sister figure.
The Princesses' involvement is a natural progression from the first film according to Co-Director Phil Johnston. "I can't imagine anyone else embodying that part". "I don't want to say just blatant sexism, but the kind of dated, antiquated idea of princesses and bringing it up to a feminist - meaning equal - code". "Disney's announcement also teased that Shank's experiences will "[open] Vanellope's eyes to the limitless possibilities of the internet and the excitement of a new world that feels like home".
Arriving in theaters for Thanksgiving, Ralph Breaks the Internet is the sequel to the 2012 animated hit Wreck-It Ralph. Featuring Gal Gadot as the voice of Shank, Ralph Breaks the Internet opens in USA theaters on November 21, 2018.
