"I might [bleep] Stephen after the show". He gonna come back to work with a magical glow. "But when you [bleep] please don't stare". "I mean, it's pretty comprehensive".
Tracy Chapman is being accused of "hit blocking" by Nicki Minaj and the Barbs are definitely not happy about this one.
While Colbert may have tried to put Minaj on the spot for a laugh, the rapper quickly turned the tables with an impromptu set of lyrics that left the talk show host hilariously flustered.
However, Colbert wasn't almost as flustered by her rap as he was by the question she asked right after: "Are you married?"
"Why. yes. Yes I am married".
"Absolutely! Shout out to you darling!" "Now you, uhh, uhh". "Sonically, I know what the album's about to sound like. Just address me as Queen Nicki Colbert, '" and she got bow down hands from Stephen and massive applause from the audience.
Colbert, 54, noted that her song Barbie Dreams off the new album was "getting a lot of attention" for some of the famous men she calls out as unworthy to court her. On Monday, before Nicki's appearance on Stephen Colbert aired, she chose to partake in an iHeart Radio interview with Power 105's DJ Self, and things quickly went South. "I'm just curious, if I were to make the list, how might you inform me". Well, only one person so far got irritated then I told him how much I love him and he understands now.
"And the other person he was just laughing".
'But I noticed I'm not on the list of men.
'He was texting me, cursing me out and laughing, ' Minaj said so she kept replying with the crying face emoji.
