France World Cup victor Pogba has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in recent days, with the player's refusal to deny the links with the Catalan giants via his various social media platforms fuelling rumours that he is open to leaving United in this transfer window.
His message sparked a flurry of tweets from United fans looking for hidden meanings, with some seeking reassurance that the player was settled at Old Trafford and not likely to jump ship to Barcelona. "We thought he would manage maximum 60 minutes and he went much longer", Mourinho said.
The European transfer window shuts on 31st August and the report claims that Pogba has told his teammates at United that he wants to sign for the Catalan giants.
"Like I said, when you are comfortable, when people trust with everyone or confident, are good in the head, it's going to be easier".
Speaking of confidence, the 25-year-old was under severe scrutiny from pundits and fans last season and this led to multiple under-par performances.
Pogba was named captain for the match despite only returning to training on Monday following an outstanding World Cup campaign with France. "I think it's the last time we speak about it, it's over, finished, the market is closed and no more talk about it".
"I am someone who is not [in] a role that I give to myself".
"Pogba was a monster", Mourinho said.
"We don't have a penalty taker, it's how we feel and I made a decision to take it". I know it's a great cup, it will stay in my mind, but I want to win all the trophies.
"We play against a team that invest more than us".
"I always love this club".
"United were outstanding in the early stages and I think the Foxes were in shock at the way they came out of the blocks and took control of the game". Right from his childhood, he thoroughly enjoyed following all the sporting events but his true calling came only when he started writing about them. They [Leicester] spent more money than us, so in the Premier League we must get used to teams with players of the same quality that we have.
