Clearly, the biggest free agent acquisition on the market is Dez Bryant who is yet to find a suitable team to his liking as teams get set to play for their first preseason game this week.
Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Bryant won't return Dorsey's phone calls.
Perhaps Dorsey should tweet at Bryant because he seems to check Twitter more than his phone. Callaway traveled with the team and was expected to play Thursday night in the Browns game against the Giants. "I just want to be right first". It also meant the team, coming off an 0-16 campaign, could look to bolster the position until Gordon returned, hopefully before the start of the season.
In a pair of tweets sent earlier Thursday, Bryant said he talked with Dorsey.
Added Dorsey: "I think we have a really nice young group of receivers that are starting to develop and I think of course it gives him a fresh start in Buffalo to see what he can do ..." Bryant, however, just might be too tough to get a hold of. "I'm still getting myself ready ... if you disagree go to hell".
Bryant tweeted Thursday he would begin his visits next week and indicated he'd include Cleveland in his plans.
The wide receiver was released by the Cowboys in April after catching 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns in 2017.
